Power Point

oh...the dreaded power point how i feared thee... This was the scariest assignment I had since I have no experience whatsoever with power point. I had alot of assistence from fellow classmates and i appreciated that alot, I was feeling really nervous to stand infront of the classroom and do the presentation but all and all I had my little anxiety attack i asked my Prof. if he could review before I would present and he just said "Youre doing fine" wich took alot of weight off my shoulders and really helped me out. Even though i felt a little nervous I had confidence in me that it was going to go well.

Movie Poster

This was one of my favorite porjects. We had to recreate a movie poster. I chose "Dude where's my car?" and changed it to "Dude where's my mac?" since the computers in the classroom are Macintosh. I took the work home to do some tweakings that took me 3 hours or more and when i brought it to class I was amazed how the Prof. did what I did and even better within seconds. He tought me alot of ways to edit images without having to go through all the time-consuming processes. We also had a photoshoot with the fellow class mates and in the end I felt very happy with what I ended up with. I had alot of fun and learned alot.

Travel poster

I was working on doing a travel poster as a class assignment about a place I visited or would like to visit. At first i chose Miami but none of the images i found really felt like what i wanted to work on, then i decided to see what i could find on Puerto Rico since it is my homeland i would know better about it. I didnt want to show and image of a beach since it was a typical thought that anyone that knows where Puerto Rico is would think but I did put one even though i did not agree on it it had to be done. In the end I liked how it came out and had alot of comments, I wouldnt say I had negative comments since I do take them as suggestions but I felt like I got eaten up alive... It was a good experience

Making a good poster

Im currently doing a project for school and what my classmates and I are trying to figure out is "what makes a good poster?". On my opinion I would say that a good poster would depend on the theme and the type of audience its trying to attract, not everyone is alike. Also i would say color is very important, you dont want something that will just scream in bright colors and irritate your eyes and you would'nt want something too dark that makes it difficult to catch your attention. Thats as far as I can think would make a good poster. Comments and opinions will be greatly appreciated.
